"Attitude--Temperament--Power" says Baldur Kranz "A powerful dog with super temperament. This dog exhibits high drive in all phases, never have I seen a better looking dog out of Lord (Gleisdreieck)."

On the street, on the trial field, and in the home, Alk is all things a German Shepherd Dog should be. Steady, calm, sure and full of drive. With the bloodlines to back up his quality, Alk offers some sorely needed characteristics in the working German Shepherd: Sound, medium size structure supported by excellent feet, firm ligamentation, with a powerful head and jaws are a few of them. Alk possesses a strong work ethic and trainability and presents the perfect picture of the canine working partner.

His bloodlines speak for themselves as a son of Sagus and grand son of Greif. Sanuk was a well known veteran of the schutzhund trial field in Germany and here in the US, who still successfully competed at 10+ years of age. His pedigree hosts animals with the same long, hardy working lives. He was a stable dog with strong drives in prey and defense. Hidden under the surface was a playful dog who enjoyed his tennis ball, refusing to give it up to anyone but his handler. Sanuk passed on incorruptible character, longevity, and physical soundness.
